This is how I want my ceremony set up. Our location is right on the lake too! Ahhhhh!!! 

I’ve run into some problems with the bridesmaid dresses! I orginally wanted them in a bright sky blue but then when a couple of my girls ordered them, they came in completely different colors, despite being the same order! Needless to say, I have been stressing over this for a few days now, trying to figure out what to do…oh and not to mention that despite measuring themselves against the websites standards, they also came in 2 sizes too small. Frustrating! 

So today I realized that it was the color that was stressing me out the most. There are so many blue variations that really, if its just a little off, its noticable. I kept joking with people that I was gonna just have them get a black dress then I’ll offset it with some blue or yellow (my main colors). THEN I realized, why not do that!? But I don’t want black since my wedding is pretty informal. But rather GRAY! A dark gray like the guy’s tuxes! With a yellow offset…so it will actually match the picture below! 

I haven’t felt this good about an idea so far regarding the dresses. So I’m hoping my fiancee is on board! I am gonna go look at some dresses straight from the designer since the store selling the designer is expensive (but we might have to do that to guarentee everything runs smoothly!)

That’s all. I’m up way too early and thought I’d share my thoughts.

So today I have to

1. Go to the tux shop and change the guys color to charcoal grey with a yellow tie.

2. Call the flower shop to change my bouquet and get rid of the blue. And also I want the groomsman to have a billy ball boutonniere (pic to follow this post).

3. Go to the designer to see about prices. If too high, then call the bridal shop to change the dress color of the dresses the girls can pick from.

4. Email my girls to go pick a dress and return the ones that they purchased already.

I’m so excited to have this off my shoulders!!

And I’m going home this weekend. I can’t wait to snuggle with my puppy (well he’s a big puppy :) ) and see my momma and sister. I haven’t been home in 3 months. That’s way too long! And get more stuff for the wedding done. I can’t believe its a little over 2 months away. It’s so crazy!
